3. Information Collection Technologies
First Party cookies: A “cookie” is a small text file placed on your computer containing an alphanumeric identifier. We use the identifier in a cookie to help us manage and report on your interaction with the Site. Cookies enable us to collect information that we use to improve the Site, keep count of return visits to the Site, collect and report on aggregate statistical information, or manage multiple instances of the Site in a single browser. We may also collect other data such as the page or website that referred you to the Site, the date and time you visited the Site, and your current IP address. Cookies we place on your computer are known as “first-party” cookies.
Third Party cookies: We may allow certain service providers to place cookies on our website for similar purposes for which we use first-party cookies, operate the Site, to provide you with a better user experience and enable us to communicate with you through the Site. For example, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how users engage with our website. For more information about Google Analytics and how it collects and processes data, please visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout to install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.
We and our service providers may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie expires when you close your browser. You may be able to remove or block cookies placed on your browser by following the directions provided in your browser's “Help” or “Settings” section.

A Beacon is a one-pixel-by-one-pixel clear image that is embedded in HTML content, and is about the size of a period at the end of a sentence. When HTML content containing a Beacon is rendered, the Beacon transmits information to a server, such as a numeric count, unique identifier, or IP address. Pandora and our service providers may use Beacons to help better manage content on the Site.

For example, we use Local Storage to make the Site and its features available such as fillable forms. Our technology providers may use Local Storage to help us understand how users engage with the Site and operate certain Site functionality. Each browser implements Local Storage differently and provides tools for managing content stored within Local Storage. You can review your browser's privacy settings to manage the content stored within Local Storage.
